•Why no split-screen support in campaign mode? Unfortunately, game development isn’t like Staples—you won’t find any giant red button that magically adds features to the game. Instead, we decided to allocate those resources and try to break new ground in the console space with a completely standalone co-op mode, which features class-based play, fosters teamwork, and allows us to tell another side of the Resistance 2 saga. This mode, by the way, will support split-screen (offline) for up to two players. We’ll have more news regarding additional split-screen support in R2 as we get closer to launch.
•Can you customize the Chimera in competitive multiplayer? In addition to your human multiplayer skin, you’ll now have the ability to change the look of these six-eyed freaks. And if you think customizing the Chimera is hot, wait till you see all the different ways you can deck out your co-op characters.
